2011 - 2012: Conducting several research projects with the advisor of my BSc graduation project:
  • Designing a scheme for an ant's decision making process relying on multi-valued logic functions
  • Designing a model for a multi-layered neural network, relying on TCP/IP and multi-valued logic functions
2010 - 2011: Completing the BSc graduation project in the field of communication with autonomous robots via Bluetooth in a star communication schema, with a computer serving as the main server;
  • Presenting the project in the 53rd annual IEEE-ELMAR conference
  • The project includes usage of Lego NXT robots and Bricx (Brics NXC Computing Env.)
  • Desinging and implementing the parsing and communication protocol using UML for modeling and C/C++ for implementation
2009 - 2010: Designing and implementing a database including a user interface (VB and Access) relying on a thorough analysis of business processes (DFD and ERD).

Professional Experience

12/2007 - 2012: Tool Integration and Deployment Engineer, Intel Corp.

The main purpose of the position is the deployment and support of various tools used by the employees of the wireless division at Intel. The tools with which I worked on a daily basis are TcSE (Teamcenter Systems Engineering) and Contour for Requirements Management, and QC (Quality Center) for Test Management. The key aspects and achievements include the following:

  • Leading the desing and implementation of an automatically executing integration between TcSE and QC:
    • Writing and presenting the integration's requirements
    • Leading and synchronizing the stages of the implementation of the integration
    • Implementing part of the integration, relying on TCL and VBA
  • Enhancing the systems' capabilities via scripting (TcSE:TCL; QC: VB, SQL)
  • Maintaining the tools' (TcSE, Contour & QC) databases (create / delete properties and maintaining their lists)
  • Building and executing reports per need in TcSE and QC
  • Formulating and implementing methodologies and BKMs (Best Known Methods) for tool usage and integration between the various tools
  • Creating and maintaing training materials, and conducting training sessions for the users of TcSE and QC (reader, writer, additional system capabiliteis)
  • Supporting users on a daily basis (e-mail, phone and face-to-face), both for requirements and test management

07/2006 - 08/2006: Quality Assurance Tester on a PeopleSoft Project, Bezeq Intl. LTD.

The main purpose of the project was a timely release of a monthly update to the company's CRM (Customer Relationships Management) tool. The work was focused on the following:

  • Assiting in preparing the upcoming software version for the scheduled release
  • Learning quickly and efficiently the structure of the CRM and the task to be performed
  • Learning quickly the mode of operation of the team within the ecosystem

12/2005 - 07/2006: Quality Assurance Tester on a Siebel Upgrade Project, Mercury LTD. (Acquired by HP Software)

The main purpose of the project was to conduct thorough testing to the company's CRM tool. The work was focused on the following:

  • Managing work volumes for myself and another Quality Assurance Engineer
  • Developing test plans and test cases for the team
  • Testing the reporting interface between the CRM's database and the company's Data Warehouse
