Students enrolled for 3 credits are required to undertake a semester long research project related to privacy enhancing technologies. Students may choose a project from the list provided by the instructor (please meet with the instructor) or may propose a related research problem they are interested in working on. Students may work on the projects individually or in groups of two after discussing with the instructor. Students may also choose to do a survey project on a related topic.

Deadlines and other important dates:
- 09/19/14: The deadline for choosing the project topic. Make sure to have met with the instructor before this date.
- 10/31/14: Midterm project reviews
- 12/05/14: Final project presentations
- 12/22/14: Project reports due
