Wrapped up secondary storage, considering some new non-volatie memory technologies, and began to look at parallelism today. The in-class exercise is below. We just started it and will work on it in small groups on Wednesday.

IMPORTANT: Also, I have decided that instead of holding a final exam, I will run more in-class exerces to reinforce the material and substitute participation in those for the portion of the grade allocated to the sample final and the actual final. Part of my goal is to give you more time to work on your final reports, which will still be due on the date of the final. The draft will also remain due as scheduled, so that I can give you feedback in time to revise it for the final due date.
