I am a PhD candidate at the College of Information and Computer Sciences at University of Massachusetts Amherst. I am a member of the theory research group and currently working with Andrew McGregor as a research assistant. I received my Bachelor's degree (Computer Science and Mathematics, 2014) and Master's degree (Computer Science, 2017) from UMass Amherst.

My research interests lie in the area of design and analysis of algorithms. In particular, I am interested in processing big graph data. Graph algorithms are used in a variety of applications across many areas of computer science and other fields. The need to compute certain graph properties arises in routing and scheduling as well as in a variety of network analysis problems. Often data sets in question are too massive or distributed across many machines which makes traditional methods not applicable. I am exploring streaming and local algorithms that provide the tools for solving these problems in a small amount of time and using limited resources. My other interests include graph theory, information theory, and communication complexity.
