Shehzaad Dhuliawala

I am a Research Engineer at Microsoft Research Montreal. My research focuses on creating automated question answering systems for multiple domains. I completed my master’s in computer science from the University of Massachusetts Amherst where I worked with Prof. Andrew McCallum. I am broadly interested in machine learning and its application in various fields of natural language processing such as knowledge base construction and reading comprehension.

For the deep learning project we tried to segment the right ventricle in heart fMRI images. It was pretty cool, details here.

I once thought that it would be cool to make a search engine for all the research papers of the Center for Indian Language Technology- IITB, where I worked before. So, I parsed and indexed the papers. Try it here.
