Rakesh R Menon

I am a second year graduate student in Computer Science at UMass Amherst working primarily with Prof. Erik Learned-Miller and Pia Bideau on the topic of motion segmentation. My current research interests spans the fields of Reinforcement Learning, Computer Vision and Deep Learning.

Previously, I graduated with a Bachelors in Electrical Engineering from IIT Madras in 2017. I did my undergraduate thesis under the guidance of Prof. Balaraman Ravindran on ensemble approaches for reinforcement learning.

During the summer of 2018, I am interning at Hikvision Research Institute(Santa Clara) under the guidance of Qinxun Bai.
