I'm a PhD candidate at UMass Amherst working in the Information Extraction and Synthesis Laboratory (IESL) with Professor Andrew McCallum. Previously at UMass, I recieved my M.S. in Computer Science in Fall 2014 as well as my B.S. in Neuroscience and B.A. in Computer Science in May 2012.

My research is broadly in the areas of information extraction, natural language processing, and machine learning. I primarily work on extracting and representing entities and their relations for constructing embedded knowledge bases.

In summer 2016 I was an intern at Google Research working with the Commonsense team on multilingual commonsense knowledge base construction.

In summer 2017 I was a Research Science Intern at the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative working with Meta on constructing bio-medical knowledge graphs.
