Chatbot Personality

The advent of chatbots with powerful conversational capabilities often provides an alternative approach to online surveys by the means of conversational surveys. These chatbots can establish a more natural connection with users to increatse engagement and collect important data. For example, chatbots can curate questions in a personalized way that may improve response quality and motivate information exchange. However, chatbot personalities can impact how these responses are generated by the chatbot and may be open to criticism and disengagement from the users. In this project, we study the effect of chatbot personalities, especially in areas where sensitive and critical data gathering is involved. From our studies, we aim to design and develop chatbots to suit user needs and personalities.
