As far as I am aware unlike FS98 CFS needs the disc for some scenery and
flight info - this is Microsofts attempt to stop the CD being installed
and then passed on and installed elsewhere (e.g piracy) - although
somewhere in the world I am sure someone has copied the CD for a friend
(illegally of course!)
