I began with FS on an Atari 800, then an original PC, then
up to FS4.0 on a 486. Bought 5.1 but couldn't get it to
work with my 4.0 scenery worth a darn so went back to 4.0.

Didn't have the horses to run FS95
so I'm now looking at a new 350MHz machine and want to
catch up with FS98. Many questions.

I assume the entire U.S. scenery database is included with
FS98? (I had to add 12 scenery modules to FS4.0).

What commercial scenery packages are worth the investment
now, if any?

Does 4.0 or 5.1 scenery work with FS98 and if so, what
coverters are available?

What add-ons are available for sound, graphics, etc. or is this
needed with FS98? (I used Pilot's Shop from Abacus and
Microsoft Scenery Designer with 4.0)

Are force feedback sticks advisable for FS98 or are these
primarily combat game toys?

And maybe before I get totally busted trying to get back up
to speed on FS98, are there any other programs out there
that might be better (FUII, etc.?)

Sorry for the long list of questions. I would really appreciate
some experienced feedback off-list (unless you think the
answers might be of general interest).

Thanks in advance for the help.
