Hi guys,

As I read this thread it occurs to me I am wrestling with this myself,
although to a different degree.

Currently I am involved in developing an XB-70 and B-58 Hustler flight
model. These a/c are Mach 2 - 3. The onset of instability around all
three axes seems not uncommon, and with the above the onset comes at
around 1200kts. I am trying to alleviate the oscillations, albeit
without too much success for FM's based on the B737. No "heavy" airfile
seems to cut it above 1200kts (measured by GPS).

Ian Donohoe, the author of ADE98 (which I want to obtain complete) seems
uncontactable and without the ADE98 features all unlocked, the
accessibility of many values is limited.

Has anyone any experience working with heavy flight models (ie airfiles)
in this Mach2 + regime ?

rgds,
