as far as I remeber, there's two steps.

1st:     Got to the startup folder and make sure the shortcut that points
to findfast is gone.
2nd:    In control panel there should be a findfast settings applet.
Delete all indexes that are listed there.

I dont know if this is complete or even accurate, but hey.... it worked
for me.
