Sorry, didn't make myself clear enough? I know opengl and 3Dfx are 
different.

I meant does this entry in the core.ini file (specifically the entries 
relating to the mirror refresh) help speed up graphics and improve fps 
when using a 3Dfx card, or *only* for Opengl stuff?

Which your statement below now answers, thanks anyway.
