You *must* MUST lift off the throttle when changing gear (if you want 
to race for *more* than a lap or so you do anyway?)

The cars in GPL model *real* cars, if you don't lift in a real car, 
pretty soon you will blow up the engine, simple.

It takes a bit of getting used to (compared to other sims) but you 
soon get the hang of it. There is a very small delay in lifting and 
the revs reducing, so try to time your lift *as* you change gear 
rather than *before* you change gear.
