It is for this very reason that I recommend Viper Racing to anyone who
asks me for the best sim to get started with.

Good physics, fairly realistic, great graphics, and it can be is easy or
as hard to drive as you want it to be.

The only unknown is future development.  The last I heard, they didn't
have much interest in upgrades, new tracks, cars, etc..

Which is a crime, IMHO.
