I tried netplay as well, at the default of 16Hz.  We found that if you
stay in view of each other it works ok.  I could see my opponent with his
lights flickering off and on (he was doing this on purpose).  We drove 3
laps with no problems, until a crash and we got separated.  A crash
appears to drop the client.

Now after that we did another test, "racing" for real but trying not to
crash.  We raced together for the first lap.  After that I pulled ahead
and got out of my opponents site -- hey it didn't drop me :)  So, after a
total of 7 laps I came to lap my opponent and I couldn't see him after
lapping him but he could see me.

We had pings of 200-250ms

I want that "file" to make drive more difficult.  Flooring the pedal
midturn should produce more wheel spin in the Panoz (just my view).  The
car seemed too easy to drive.  I really want this game to be good because
I love watching the FIA GT races, but driving in them would be great!  :-D
