From my old DOS days, I hated IRQ 9.  It was shared with IRQ 2 (if that makes
sense to you :-).

I have my second ethernet card on IRQ 9 and it works fine, but the Monster might
not like it.  Try changing the IRQ to 10, 11 or 12 using CONTROL PANEL / SYSTEM
/ DEVICES.  (Oops I'm on NT Workstation now so I can't remember the exact
choices).  Of course change the IRQ to one that is not conflicting with any
current devices.

To test the card, Diamond has a test program to verify everything is working --
try that before any games.
