Hmmm, just as an aside here, but is this accepted protocol? I've never 
seen a faq or request anywhere to use real names?

I have always used my e-mail handle "PJGTECH" and no-one has ever 
mentioned it to me, or asked me to use my real name? (I also like to 
think that as I've never/rarely upset anyone, and try to drive 
sensibly, and possibly people recognise my handle from here? that 
no-one objects to me using their server anyway)?

If it *is* the norm, then I'll be happy to change my GPL settings to 
use my *real* name, but I don't see that it makes any real difference, 
people who are acting as you describe will simply use a false *real* 
name IYSWIM?
