Some (most?) ISP's assign a different IP address to each user every 
time they connect (called a *Dynamic* IP address). Some ISP's (like 
yours) give the same IP address to users every time they connect 
(called *Static* IP address).

I belive they do this cos each ISP only has a finite number of IP 
addresses which it can use at any one time?
