I was racing online before I knew the tracks :-) I figured the best way to
learn was to drive them and the AI were too fast for me.

Get online now and enjoy!

Trainers are used only in leagues. Check the VROC paddock / Links for
leagues or goto my web page (check the signature) and goto the Links button.
Turn 1 has a lot of links to everything regarding GPL.

http://gpl.gamestats.com/vroc <-- There is nothing better.

The Coventry does not have a lot of low RPM torque so it's easy to
slam the gas and go.

You just need more practice. The default setups are fine for getting good
times.

If you can't drive the other cars, I would not give up the Coventry ;)

Just drive nice and keep your distance. Never try to overtake another driver
on the first lap. Your tires are cold and it's tough enough passing as it is :)

Set you Detail to 0% (far left) to get best results. I get 36fps everywhere
with a P2/333 64mb Monster3D2 12mb.

Hope it helps.
