While I agree if you liked GP1 you will love GP2 (provided your 
hardware is up to the job?) I think it is generally accepted now that 
F1RS is the overall *best* F1 sim (modern).

It has most of the features of GP2, (cannot save hotlap) and a few 
more features, (ghostlaps, weather, multiplayer via lan/internet, etc) 
and better (3Dfx) graphics. There are also various editors to tweak 
the game to your liking.

BTW, I'm a big F1RS & GP2 fan, and although I actually recommend F1RS 
as the best *overall* modern F1 sim, I think GP2 has a *slightly* 
better driving model. So if *pure driving* is your thing, get GP2, if 
you want the best looker and the extra features, get F1RS.

If you want the *best* F1 sim (ever) or any other sim come to that? 
then there is no question, GPL is the one to get, awesome, simply 
awesome.
