And while I'm still at it (geez, you really got me going on this one!<G>).....ever
hear of lacrosse? Send some of your soccer players over here to the US or Canada to
try a man's game like lacrosse, or better yet, box lacrosse, and they'll come home
in the fetal position.

Soccer...please......it's the most played game in the world because it's the least
expensive to play, or it's the only game to play, and those are probably the only
reason. Ask any kid in Paris, Stockholm, Berlin, San Paulo, or Rio if he'd rather
grow up to be a soccer player or make $100 million in the NBA and I'll show you a
quick change of heart or a very slow kid <G>. Of course they all want to play
soccer, that's all they know! Use your heads, what the hell kind of argument is
that? Ask Brazilian kids and find out how many want to be cricket players....none of
course, they don't know anything about it.

Now, take the same kid to a Bulls game or a Red Sox game or a Denver Bronco's game,
or a Red Wings game, or a NASCAR race, and THEN ask him what he wants to play.

Sorry about posting to myself and sorry about the typing (it's 2:12am here), but I
can't stand smug, no-nothing, egotists who chose to babble non-sensical (sp?)
arguments about things which they know nothing about. If you like what you like,
fine, leave us alone, tickets to NASCAR are hard enough to get. If you "don't get
it", then either make an attempt to learn before you shoot your mouth off or keep it
to yourself. The fact that you can't understand the concept of cultural differences,
and that obviously ALL of these sports (even soccer <G>) hold tremendous appeal to
those who like them (for valid reasons no doubt) , and that this isn't a contest,
(follow whatever sports you like and leave the rest alone) is your problem. Leave us
out of it...

And don't come to us when you country's ass is in a sling! Send your soccer players!
(Just kidding, we'll come bail you out again!....Just kidding again <G>)
