I whack your point back at you, sir <G>. How can you judge our athletes by
performance in a sport in which we don't compete seriously (soccer)? These
are basically our "athletes" without the skills to compete in our other
sports, or people who brought their passion for the sport from their home
lands or heritage. Soccer is the game that our 5 and 6 years olds
play....it's a beginners game...like tag....

The trouble is finding a good test sport. Soccer players presumably have no
hand skills or jumping ability to speak of so what other sport could they
compete in? Let's take the Packers and Manchester United and try some
Australian Rules football...what do you think?

Give me a "neutral" sport and we'll talk.... Our take any group of athletes
from each country and try 10 sports....what do you think? How good a hoops
team could the Brazilians field, anyway?<G>
