Happens to me all the time. One way I found to deal with it is to get
down on the apron (assuming you're starting on the inside), and pass. I
can usually pass about 30 cars on lap 1 at 'dega. Probably 20-25 of
those, I've passed by turn 1.
Of course, some folks called me a cheater when I posted that here. ;-)
