hmm. that was my post. I have almost the exact same setup as you ('cept my
bother has 16 MB of my RAM) and could run GPL on Open GL, albeit S - L - O - W -
L - Y. It is better than software, however. You'll
notice the difference in graphics if you actually have it running. My first
suggestion is to buy a voodoo2 card - it makes the game playable. If, for
instance, that won't happen until Xmas, try making sure you have the correct
opengl.dll in windows/sys. set mipmap=1 in core.ini, make sure you set the
resolution to 640 x 480. Read posts in comp.sys.pc.video (something like that)
they go over over common problems, or search on dejanews. I didn't have much
trouble, but don't remember exactly how i set it up.
