I've got a problem with Monster Truck Madness 2, and was hoping someone
here knew the answer...

It used to work fine. However, my system has been upgraded over the
last couple of months with a lot of new stuff, and I'm not sure what
broke it.

The machine currently has a brand new Win98 install and the following
hardware:

Pentium II 300
64MB RAM
11.5 Gig HD
24X CD

Windows 98

Diamond Monster II 12MB
Diamond Stealth II G460
Creative PCI128 SoundBlaster
Thrustmaster Nascar Pro Wheel

What happens is that the program starts, and runs, fine. However, at
the end of a race when it goes back to the main screen, it hangs up with
the sound 'stuttering'.

Pressing the space bar makes the sound stop, but the system is frozen.
I have to use a three-finger-salute to get it running again.

Everything has been reinstalled clean at least 3 times. Only the
standard DirectX 5.2 drivers are involved.

No Plus! packs or any other junk installed.

Game is set to run in 3dfx mode.

All Monster II settings are default.

Using the Monster II 2.03 drivers, but the same thing happens with the
standard 1.01 drivers.

Any idea's would be greatly appreciated.
