You really need a 3d card. More ram would be good too. A 266 will get you good
frame rates with most graphics and minimum cars.  More cars = less graphics. To
get good fps(30+) with almost all graphics and a full field of ai cars you need
350-400mhz.
As for the 3d card I along with a noted beta tester highly reccomend a Thriller
8meg. GPL and other papy sims are written for the chips (rendition2200) in
these cards.If you also want performance in Quake and other games get a
VooDoo2.
