Obviously he either still has CPR on his HD or traces of it in his registry. Thus no
other sim will run. Format your HD and purge it of all traces of CPR and try again. Any
fragment of CPR would be far too jealous of GPL to sit back and let it function in all
it's glory without great hindrance!
