Have you tried the Ubisoft website and the "Unnofficial" F1RS website 
and downloaded some set-ups?

Have you read the manual on setting up cars?

Try reducing steering lock, this helps a lot. I've heard some people 
set it as low as around 5 or 6 degrees?
