The fuss is being made because GPL is based on the 1967 F1 season,
the year before 3.5Litre engines were outlawed, before wings were
introduced, before slick tyres and ground effect and aerodynamics
were used, and uses the very latest technology and probably the best
ever physics engine for this type of program. GPL models almost every
aspect of the cars physical attributes, and whats more, it models
them almost to perfection.

Gpl has taken driving simulations to a new level/era. *THATS* what
all the fuss is about!

So you don't actually have the full final release product, you are
basing your opinion (which you are perfectly entitled to) on a pre
release demo, or the Warez version, both of which are known to be
no-where near the full final release version?

Also, despite being pre-release demo or warez versions, they are
*STILL* awesome programs compared to what we have seen previously in
the driving simulation arena (My own humble opinion).

Fair enough. I too like F1RS very much, it is probably the best
"modern day" F1 Sim? and awesome graphics and many great features.

Such as? I would be very interested to hear what it is *exactly* that
you think GPL lacks?
