After spending all night (and a good bit of the morning) playing the
final version of GPL, I am kind of disappointed by a few things:

1) There is no comprehensive post race information to view or save ( a
la ICR2 ) It talks about in the readme file how you can adjust the
computer AI for league races, but when the race is over how can you
send in your race info without some sort of post race report.

2) There is no way to race the GP3 or GP2 cars. These are great
trainers, and it would seem logical that you could race in them to help
your skills progress, yet still get the thrill of victory.

3) No career mode. (This goes with #2 ) It would be nice to incorporate
some sort of "game" into this sim where you have to start in a lower
league and work your way up to the top to get to the "Show". This would
also make the learning curve easier for people who just jump into the GP
cars and get frustrated. ( NOTE: this should be an additional option to
the ones already present)

4) You should be able to easily scale the driver performance ( like
opponent strength in ICR2).
(A career mode might fix this, but there isn't one)

5) You should be able to race with less than 5 cars. This game is very
taxing on the CPU and being able to race with just 2 cars might make it
more playable for some people. What is with the magic number 5?

All of these complaints are small additions that just make the software
much more enjoyable and accomidating to different players needs. Papy
knows that many many people will make offline and online
leagues, they address it in the readme, but don't add any options or
features that make it easier.

Tony
