And let's not forget the most intriguing reason: Somebody else doesn't
wanna land on that runway! As I understand from my 120 hours of flying
from an uncontrolled field, there is nothing legal about which runway is
in use. If somebody wants to land downwind, they just can. Too bad if
you think it's wrong. Remember what Unicom says when you ask for an
airport ADVISORY..."We ADVISE 35 Left traffic". Take it or leave
it...and expect others to as well.
