I thought I would have a problem when I started, I knew that a 152 was not
much
bigger than my remote control airplanes:-) . I check in at 270 @ 6'1" and
I
have no problem with a 172. When you go solo there is tons of room.
My Instructor is only 150 lb.. @ 5' 8" have fun... On Saturday...

P.S. I would rather use simplex @ 6000 ft with my 6 meter hand held . I
have a guy that works for me and he is into contesting in a big way. He
can't what till I get my PPL so he can load up the plane with radio's on
contest day!!!!!!
