Not at my local airport.  After I stopped taking new students, we are left 
with only two relatively new instructors, both with far less experience than 
the average PP at the field.

Pure BS.  CFI/student accidents don't make the newspapers for one thing 
and I don't know all of the Candian statistics, but here in the good'ole 
USofA, we didn't have a single Airline accident last year.
