More importantly than whether it's likely or not, I
think, the (correct!) impression needs to be conveyed
that an engine failure is not the end of the world
and, handled properly, should be highly survivable.

An electrical failure, of course, can be anything
from a non-event to extremely serious depending upon
the circumstances, but in no case should be as serious
as an engine failure.
