I have a question for those folks who may have a firsthand account of
working their way up the ladder of aviation and into the airlines:

What do airlines look for in pilots they are interviewing?
Is a college/university degree an advantage?
Is an aviation diploma or degree another advantage?
Do they look down upon folks who work on their licenses on their own,
not through a school?

thanks
