Safely exploring the envelope makes obvious sense.

But I don't understand the value of the 'sight picture'
as you stated it in reference to stalling. A stall can
occur at any attitude, so the visual picture comparing
your wingtip to a horizon isn't terribly valuable.

More valuable would be concentrating on the sound and
feel of the aircraft as it approaches a fully stalled
state.

What am I missing?
