Hmmm. After due consideration: no.

Stan, when it seems appropriate, I mention my flying experience,
age, what planes I fly, what ratings I'm working on etc. It's
no secret and a search through dejanews will find this info.

I won't respond to a post like this, though, because it's a peeve
of mine. In order to take what I (or anyone else here) says to
heart, I feel strongly you should cross-check with other sources and
judge the advice on its merit. Not on the number of hours someone
has, or the number of ratings. I feel that most of the time when I
give advice or describe something, it's something where no one should
take my word and my hours and experience and ratings don't matter.
I feel they should discuss it with their mechanic or CFI, or try it
for themselves, or check it out elsewhere.

And also, why single out me? There are several people here who
give very strongly worded advice couched in a very authoritative
manner. I know what their flying background is (approximately).
Sometimes the advice is good, and sometimes I believe it to be
mistaken. That doesn't necessarily correlate with their hours and
experience. Do you want to know everyone's credentials?

As always, caveat lector, and before you take my or anyone's
advice that you read on the net to heart check it out for yourself.
If it makes sense use it, if it doesn't correct it with what you
know.
