Okay, in no real order:

1. Top Gun (seen it 26 times and usually recite every line during my x-c
trips to fight boredom)
2. Fandango (not about aviation but has awesome GA sequences from the
halfway point on)
3. Empire of the Sun. A must-see. The beauty of warbirds, as seen
through the eyes of a kid. The young Kamikazi plot line is
heart-rending.
4. Iron Eagle (opening sequences). My closet fantasy...but I'd never
bring the jet back. I'd hide it in my back yard. =8-)
5. Flight of the Phoenix
6. Bat 21. Makes me want to buy a 337 every time I see it.
7. Air America (Helio Heaven)
8. Con Air (when's the last time you saw a Vette do aerobatics?)
9. Tuskeegee Airmen (HBO film). Loved it.
10. The Right Stuff. Look for the Yeager cameo.
11. The Spirit of St. Louis (Jimmy Stewart)
12. From the Earth to the Moon (HBO Series). AWESOME. Worth owning.
13. Memphis Belle. Great tribute to the courage of those airmen.
14. Fly Away Home. A must-see!

Just saw a bit of a movie on HBO last week or so...not sure what it was
about, but something to do with an Israeli pilot (?). WONDERFUL shots of
MiG-15's.

Cheers,
Victoria
