I've enjoyed this news group for months and now finally have something
exciting to report. No solo. No checkride. But the most fun .7 hours
I've had in a long time. I completed ground school with the intention
of starting lessons about 2 years ago but was unexpectadly blessed with
twin girls and have been waiting for the right time to start flying.
Since the right time never came I decided to start today. No wind. Took
off. Climbed then straight and level to the practice area. Did some 360
turns and got vectored back to the airport behind another 152. It was
awesome. A lot more fun than my 1000+ hrs on MS Flt Sim. I hope to have
more exciting news in a couple of months. Thanks for all the posts.
They are a great encouragement.
