Just to clarify, the Blackout headset-mounted light just snaps onto a
swivel that you stick onto your headset. The light snaps off & on quite
easily and can be used as a hand light as well. It has a bluegreen lens
(military night specs?) and turns on and off by continuously rotating
the head, just like the Maglite. Takes 1 AAA battery (don't leave it on
all the time).

I carry two Blackout lights, a mini-Maglite (red lens), and a 2 D-cell
Maglite when I fly at night. A bit redundant maybe, but they do all have
their purpose.
