I use a Mag-lite because I like to be able to point the light while 
holding it.  Also, you will not need to use your flashlight all the
time while flying.  I only turn mine on when I need extra light.  
A trick I found is there is enough room between my headset and my
head that I can wedge the light there and it will work like one
of those headset attached lights for hands free operation.
