You do not say if you are climbing out with full throttle.

I know that in a 172 when turning left into the crosswind I do not use
any left rudder, but less right rudder.  This is because of the torque.

The idea is not to use such-and-such rudder, but to keep the ball centered
when in a turn.  Different planes behave differently, and a plane will
behave differently under different conditions.  For example, I find that
a 152/150 requires very little rudder while in the 172 my feet are always
busy.

Well, thats my $0.02, and I am sure that others on here have more aerodynamic
knowledge than I.
