Gerry,
Good Luck! I'm still burning off my X-C requirement and I'm gonna have a
CFI along on one next week to help me get jumpstarted on the IFR. I've
got the Jepp IFR/Comm book as well. Just got Kershner's  "Instrument
Flight Manual" from Amazon.com today, too. Used his PP manual and liked
it. Also stole my husband's Westbend timer from his desk.... =8-)
