Guess you didn't read my posting?

Your statement says that "There is no Absolute Truth". In order for that to be
true the statement "There is no Absolute Truth" has to be false, thereby negating
the argument.

There can be only one Truth ( but there can be many Lies). We may be blinded from
the truth. We may have misperceptions as to the truth. Each of us may perceive
the truth differently, which can change with time. We may be misdirected to the
truth by others. Still, there is only one Truth.

Agreed, the Truth can never be known with 100% certainty. The 19th century
mathematician Godel 'proved' this. He said you can not 100% prove anything about
a 'system' without using some 'outside reference' (of course that just begs the
question: What about 'proving' the 'outside reference'?) This is where Faith
comes in (Oh now, theres a 'nasty' word sure to invoke the wrath of the news group!).
We _all_ have to have some degree of faith in order to keep us from going crazy!
Are you _sure_ that the sun is really going to come up tomorrow? Are you sure that
the wings aren't going to fall off jsut as you rotate (since this is supposed to be
a student pilot news group)? So we must all have some degree of faith that there
is a Truth out there somewhere. As we correctly perceive (which each of us must
do for ourselfs) bits and pieces of it we must have faith concerning the rest.
