My CFI scheduled our first dual cross country for this
Saturday morning. This is what I have been waiting for and
I am eagerly looking forward to the solo XC.

I hope the weather is good. Eastern Ohio is quite beautiful
in mid October. If it is sunny the fall colors should
be spectacular! The planned trip should take about 2 hours,
from Morrow Co., to Clever (New Philidelphia, OH), to Mansfield,
and back to Morrow Co. The only thing is that I have to get
up early Saturday and be at the field by 8:30 :-{ (<--grump face)

I also hope I get over my sinus/ear problems before then. I
get nasty sinus allergies this time of year with all the dry
leaves, mold, etc. And sometimes it migrates into my ears,
like right now. It was this kind of problem that delayed my
medical two months. Any one else out there in pilot land have
the same problem?

Jim
