I'm a bit past that, but in the same boat. I passed my checkride two
months ago, did very well, but I'm beginning to understand why some
people drop out after actually getting their ticket. I'm in an
"in-between zone" where I'm not flying with instructors anymore, but
many potential passengers seem hesitant to go up with a brand-new pilot.
So I generally fly alone. Not bad, but I'm looking forward to actually
doing things with this license!
