When flying VFR all that stuff, GPS included, are navigational _aids_.  They
do not do the naving for you.  As PIC you are still responsible for keeping
track of where you are on a sectional.

In a recent article (letter?) in the AOPA magizine the author mentioned how 
suprised he was about how many people _with GPS_ where landing at the
wrong airport!

Never the less, unless it is an approved installation, I doubt if I will
ever have a broadcast radio operating on board.  (Although I may be
tempted to try my 2MTR HT on occasion.)
