The NTSB, on their website, has accident summaries. They should be
required reading for any pilot or would-be pilot. You will find them
very educational. When I started my flight training I looked to see
what the most common causes of accidents (in training type planes) where,
so I could avoid them.

I have not even had a traffic ticket in over 25 years. What makes me
a safe driver? It is knowing that this morning may have been the last
time I see my lovely wife, and knowing that I may not make it home tonight.

I would like to apply the same philosophy to my flying. I know that
sometime I will have an accident, but I want to put it off as long as
possible.

Jim
