PIAA's Superwhite advertisement has been very successful in fooling a lot
of people. Their marketing department has obviously done their homework.
I studied marketing and psychology meyself and believe me, when you can
successfully push your product based on either people's ego, insecurity or
greed. In PIAA's case, they targeted the ego and insecurity of the
wannabes who think they can have the same look as the Mercedes and BMW.
These people have convinced themselves that by putting in the superwhite
bulbs they have somehow elevated their status and have "shown" those more
expensive car owners that they can also "do it". Well, I found the same
type of PIAA superwhite bulbs (blueish/gray coating) on sale in Mexico
City for $7 a piece. This is exactly made by the same factory contracted
by PIAA. There is no point in arguing with these superwhite users because
they simply refuse to see the truth. Their foolish ego have covered their
eyes!
